Thread and Floss
We use Danville 6/0 (70 denier)thread for almost all of our tying and size A (200 denier) unwaxed thread as our single strand floss. Those two have served us well for the better part of a quarter century so even though there are many other types of thread on the market, we like (and sell) Danville.

Tinsel
We use the Danville small, two-sided tinsel (gold/silver) for all of our tying. We find it produces a nice spooth application on many different hook styles.

This is the standard size copper wire. It is best used on flies larger than a #18 given it's size.

Nylon Stretch
This product is a type of single-strand floss that never gets a twist in it so it applies to the hook perfectly smooth straight out of a bobbin. No other single-strand floss is like it. Nylon Stretch has really improved our tying speed on floss body flies. You'll love it!

Bulk Beads

Bulk Beads
These solid beads have a beveled hole at one end that is slightly larger than the hole at the other end. The beveled hole aids in slipping the bead around the hook bend - the smaller hole goes against the hook eye. Colors are black, copper, silver and gold. The sizes are small (2mm #14-#20), medium (3mm #8-#12), large (4mm #2-#8) and extra large (5mm #s6 & bigger).

This is great wing or body material for that perfect dry fly OR to use as a strike indicator. We like it for wings on Humpies, Wulff and Trudes like those featured in our two instructional DVDs, EZY Trout Flies & Quick'N EZY Trout Flies. This unique velour has a subtle, glowing sheen all around the outside when viewed in normal sun light. It is particularly effective when used as a dry fly, extended body (after applying Scotch Guard to water proof it) or for any type of body on a nymph or emerger (when left untreated). It really catches the light in the water's surface film. Three yards per package.

Fisker Design System Tubes

The system tube packets come with the newly developed heads as indicated in the picture on the left. They are available in Slow, Medium and Fast Sink Tubes. This is accomplished by a combination of plastic tubes, brass tubes, plastic heads and weighted heads. Many sink ratio's are possible by combining different body and head weights. Fast sink brass tubes can be ordered in 1/2" to 3" lengths with clear heads only. Plastic tubes can be ordered in packages of clear tube (no heads) or with different colored heads.
